Following the Dissolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic emerged as the Russian Federation. Soon afterwards, Russia established the Commonwealth of Independent States, hoping that neighboring Ukraine would join, but Ukraine refuses to become a full member. Ukraine does attend a conference, however. When Ukraine finds out that he still has nuclear weapons from his Soviet past, Russia demands Ukraine give her the nukes back. With the United States of America supporting Russia, Ukraine hands Russia all of his nukes. Russia then asks for Crimea back, but Ukraine refuses, saying that Crimea voted to be a part of Ukraine After recognizing the Georgian breakaway states of Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent, Russia has invaded Georgia. After Ukraine calls the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Russia then calls Ukraine, aware of Ukranian-NATO relations. The two then realize that Ukraine was calling both of them at the same time. To avoid further conflict, Ukraine hangs up. In 2014, Russia sneaks into Ukraine's house and attaches to itself Crimea from Ukraine, causing Ukraine to denounce himself as a CIS member. Russia warns Ukraine that bad things will happen if Ukraine continued being friends with NATO and the European Union. On 17 July this year, Russia shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, flying from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On 27 July, Donbas city was strike three times. In 2022, Russia declares war on Ukraine, planning to invade the country. America initiates a resolution condemning Russia for invading Ukraine. Despite this, Russia claims that other countries getting off Russian gas would do nothing to Russia's economy, and that Russia has veto power due to their previous actions. As the war escalates, Russia finally corners Ukraine at his house, but with the help of America and the Republic of Poland, Ukraine gets weapons, and Russia goes into retreat.
