The LTECH branch of BECTU was set up to represent Lighting Technicians, predominantly in the Feature Film, Commercial and TV Drama Sectors, known in BECTU as the Production Division.
If you are someone who doesn't traditionally work in the Production Division sector, you may benefit from being represented by a branch that is better suited to your type of work.

The Scottish Live Events Network (SLEN) is a recently formed branch of Bectu operating as a part of the national Live Events Network Sub-Division. The branch has been set up to provide better representation for everyone who works in the live events industry in Scotland.

London Union of Crew (aka LUC) - all live events crew based in London
London Live Events - any live events worker based in London who aren’t crew or technicians.
