Farewell to Mr. Masathosi Sasaoka - Message

Hari Priyadi (笹岡さんのCIFOR時代の同僚)

I used to work with Mr. Masatoshi at CIFOR in the same unit, the Environment Unit in 2012. He was knowledgeable about forest ecology in Eastern Indonesia and had experience conducting research there. He spoke fluent Indonesian and enjoyed engaging in discussions about science and culture. Besides being intelligent, Mr. Masa was also a good social person. I was shocked when I heard that he passed away. May he rest in peace and may his family be given strength.
