Demonstrates multicultural competence (including an awareness and understanding of historically minoritized populations) and maintains an educational and work environment that affirms commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Supports the college's mission by creating a learning and work environment of mutual respect and fairness, while encouraging creative and critical thinking.
Efficiently works with faculty SME in order to create learning objects and other content for online and hybrid courses for SME in a short time frame.
Emphasizes culturally responsive and inclusive pedagogy; Universal Design for Learning, Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) templates, and use of Open Educational Resources.
Uses theories and principles of effective teaching, learning, and assessments to create content and to support faculty in their creation of content for courses in various formats.
Utilizes technology or multimedia projects? Web development and graphic design fluency? Experience with visual design and layout as related to presentations and instructional delivery.
Applies ADA standards for web content accessibility.
Translates course outcomes and assessment into activities and teaching/learning strategies that can be accomplished within a technologically-mediated instructional environment.
