Archiving and backing up of your courses is a requirement of all CANVAS faculty to safeguard their individual course materials every quarter
Our best recommendation: Create a DEV Canvas shell in your Canvas account and then copy your latest Canvas course into it.
Another good backup option: Export a copy of your course as a .imscc compressed file to your work computer.
Student Course Access End Date Make clear to your students the cutoff date for accessing your Canvas course(s) and course materials.
Extended Course Access for a student who needs to continue their work with/for you beyond a concluded quarter - submit your request to https://servicedesk.rtc.edu or servicedesk@rtc.edu and include your course name, its course number, the reason for a change of end date, and the last date your student will need access to your course.
