Jerry Lee Lewis - The Complete Session Recorded In London With Great Artists Vol.2 1LP re-issue from Bear Family Records (Germany) 1986/1987. 12 songs in 1LP, 3 of them including *Singing The Blues with Rory were previously unreleased.

** Satisfaction was recorded at Rory's suggestion, but was not included in the original album. It appeared in The Best Of Rory Gallagher 2CD released in 2020.

『火の玉ロック』のロックンローラー、ジェリー・リー・ルイス（1935-2022）がロンドンに乗り込み、スター級のゲストミュージシャンを集めて1973年1月8日から12日の間に録音したセッションアルバム。アルバート・リー、ピーター・フランプトンとロリーが共演した曲がアルバムに収録されている。気難しいジェリー・リー・ルイスのピリピリした雰囲気に臆して皆ほとんど口もきけなかったという中、何をやりたいかとジェリー・リー・ルイスに問われたロリーはローリング・ストーンズの曲「サティスファクション」を提案。ジェリー・リー・ルイスがその曲を知らないと言うので、ロリーがその場で教えるハメになったという。「サティスファクション」は録音されたが、曲の権利の関係なのか当初アルバムには収録されなかった。……と、噂話だけは知らされていたのだが、2020年リリースの2CD『The Best Of Rory Gallagher』で本当に出て来た。

1992     Some songs from above were issued as a bootleg LP The Bullfrog Interlude and years later it was included in G-MEN Bootleg Series Volume One 3CD box released officially.

ルクセンブルクのレコード会社から『The Bullfrog Interlude』というタイトルのブートレッグLPが出回った。それを後の1992年、ロリー自身のストレンジ・レコード社がそのままCD化し『G-MEN Bootleg Series』という3CDセットに入れて発売してしまった。

「Hoodoo Man」でロリーのスライドプレイの陰に、調子外れなブルースコードを刻むギターの音が入る。この時期キーボードのルー・マーティンにリズムギターを弾かせてみたが、恐ろしくヘタだったのですぐに取りやめた、というようなことがジェリー・マカヴォイの著書『Riding Shotgun』に書いてあるが、これがそのルー・マーティンの恐ろしくヘタなギターというやつではないだろうか？

ラストの「Bullfrog Blues」は、いつもよりテンポが緩やかだが心地良い。
