The Sindh Region is a major pillar of Pur Umeed Zindagi (PUZ), delivering free, confidential, and ethical mental health services across urban and rural communities. Through a strong network of Primary Care Points (PCPs) and hospital‑based sites, PUZ ensures early screening, baseline counseling, follow‑ups, and referral pathways—bringing care closer to people who need it.

Mr. Danish Khan – Sindh Region Lead
Mr. Danish Khan is a mental health professional with an academic background in Psychology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Sindh, Jamshoro, followed by a Post‑Magisterial Diploma in Addiction Sciences from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, Karachi.
He has over two years of professional experience working in the field of mental health, with exposure to both adult and child populations. His work includes providing psychological support, counseling, and supervision within community‑based mental health programs.
Mr. Danish Khan provides overall leadership and clinical supervision for the Sindh Region. He conducts mental health clinics across Sindh sites, supervises MHOs, and ensures adherence to PUZ’s quality and ethical standards.

Enrollment & Baseline Counseling for moderate cases by MHOs
Follow‑ups & Community Support to maintain progress and reduce relapse
Referral to Regional Clinics (led by Mr. Danish Khan) for complex/severe cases
Back‑Referral & Continuity—clients continue follow‑ups with MHOs in their community
All services are free of cost, culturally sensitive, and delivered under professional supervision.
The Sindh Region Lead conducts clinics across Sindh sites to provide:
Advanced assessment and treatment planning
Case supervision and guidance for MHOs
Referral decisions and linkage to specialized care when required
Continuity & quality assurance for complex cases
This ensures that individuals receive the right care at the right level, without financial barriers.
