On January 21, 2026, Pur Umeed Zindagi (PUZ) conducted an awareness session on “Employee Well‑Being and Burnout”, facilitated by Ms. Rukhsar Faizan, Mental Health Officer (MHO), PUZ.
The session focused on understanding work‑related stress, burnout, and their impact on mental health, particularly in demanding work environments. Participants were guided on identifying early signs of burnout, adopting healthy coping strategies, maintaining work‑life balance, and seeking timely mental health support.
A Psychological First Aid (PFA) workshop was held on December 9, 2025, at the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) Badin Campus. The workshop focused on strengthening crisis response and mental health support among healthcare professionals.

Facilitator: Ms. Ayesha Kasiri (Assistant Manager, Pur Umeed Zindagi)
Both the Moderator and Facilitator were awarded Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their valuable contributions. The workshop emphasized practical application of Psychological First Aid principles and clear referral pathways for individuals experiencing psychological distress.
PUZ marked World Mental Health Day at Badin with a community awareness event themed “Access to Services and Mental Health in Emergencies.” The event promoted mental health literacy, reduced stigma, and encouraged community members to seek timely mental health support.
PUZ organized a Stress Management Seminar at Badin, providing participants with practical stress‑coping tools, relaxation techniques, and emotional regulation strategies. The seminar received positive feedback and contributed to strengthening community resilience.
PUZ continues to conduct daily mental health awareness sessions in communities such as Shahdi Large, Sehwan, and other underserved areas, focusing on mental health education, stigma reduction, and encouraging help‑seeking behavior.
