Punjab Region - Pur Umeed Zindagi
Welcome Pur Umeed Zindagi - Indus Hospital & Health Network
Punjab Region - Pur Umeed Zindagi
The Punjab Region is a key service area of Pur Umeed Zindagi (PUZ), where communities receive free, confidential, and ethical mental health care through site‑based services and community outreach. PUZ in Punjab focuses on early screening, baseline counseling, follow‑ups, and clear referral pathways to ensure people get the right level of care at the right time.
Punjab sites include hospital‑based locations and Primary Care Program (PCPs) across Southern and Central Punjab, enabling access for both urban and rural populations.
PUZ follows a stepped‑care, community‑anchored model:
Screening & Identification – MHOs screen for anxiety and depression using standardized tools.
Enrollment & Baseline Counseling – Moderate cases receive structured counseling and psychoeducation.
Follow‑ups & Community Support – Regular sessions to track progress and strengthen coping skills.
Referral Pathways – Severe/complex cases are referred to PUZ psychologists/clinics for advanced care.
Back‑Referral – Clients continue follow‑ups with MHOs near home to maintain continuity.
All services are provided free of cost, with confidentiality and ethics at the center of care.
PUZ currently provides mental health services at the following Punjab sites:

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Hospital (RTEH)
