The Balochistan Region is an essential part of Pur Umeed Zindagi (PUZ), working to improve access to free, confidential, and ethical mental health services in remote and underserved communities. Given the geographic challenges of the region, PUZ focuses on community‑based care, early identification of mental health concerns, and strong referral linkages for advanced support.
Mr. Tariq Aziz serves as the Balochistan Region Lead and provides clinical supervision and psychological services across the region. As a qualified psychologist, he ensures quality mental health care delivery and supports MHOs working in challenging and remote settings.
