Welcome Pur Umeed Zindagi - Indus Hospital & Health Network

The Pur Umeed Zindagi Program is a community-focused mental health and psychosocial support initiative designed to promote hope, emotional well-being, self-confidence, and positive living. During 2022, the program focused on building awareness, initiating mental health screening services, and strengthening community-level support systems.
Vision: A healthy, hopeful, and mentally resilient society.
Mission: To improve mental well-being through awareness, early identification, counseling support, and active community engagement.
To introduce mental health awareness at the community level
To identify individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, and emotional distress
To provide basic psychosocial support and referrals
To reduce stigma associated with mental health issues
Mental health awareness sessions conducted in communities, schools, and local institutions
Topics included emotional well-being, stress management, and self-care practices
Frequency: Periodic sessions conducted throughout the year
Community-level mental health screening activities
Basic individual counseling and guidance sessions
Referral of complex cases to appropriate services
Orientation sessions for community volunteers
Basic training on identifying mental health concerns and providing initial support
Awareness activities conducted on World Mental Health Day (10 October)
Community discussions on mental health and well-being

July–September: Follow-up support, volunteer orientations
October–December: World Mental Health Day activities, annual review
Improved basic understanding of mental health concepts within communities
