Psalm 102:25-28
God created the earth and heavens
25 In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.
27 But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.
28 The children of your servants will live in your presence;
their descendants will be established before you."
The Psalmist tells us that God created our earth and the heavens...He also tells us that the earth and heavens will wear out and eventually perish...
Noted scientist, Stephen Hawking, has written that years ago many thought the universe had no beginning of time and had no ending...Now Hawking believes that the earth and heavens had a beginning and the universe one day will end...
The Bible in Genesis tells us God created the earth and heavens, which was the beginning...The Psalmist writes and tells us that the earth and heavens will end...But God will be there, after all things have worn out like a garment, and be with His children of His servants forever and will they will not be separated from Him...
It is very interesting the nomadic travelers in the early mid and near east knew this talked about this in their oral stories thousands of years ago and then wrote about this beginning and end (of the heavens and earth)...
God will remain the same and His years will never end...
