Fidelity occurs when teams use the instructional strategies and deliver the content of the intervention, program, and/or curriculum in the same way that they were designed to be used and delivered. Fidelity is important because it ensures instruction has been provided as intended, links child outcomes to the instruction, helps informs decisions about changes needed, and coaching is more successful when we know where we are trying to go!

Define fidelity and describe why it is important.
Identify ways to measure fidelity.
Use a fidelity checklist to measure implementation of PS SDI.
