Preschool SDI Professional Learning Leads 2019-20

Expertise of the team include:

Knowledge and experience with the Preschool SDI content
Knowledge and experience diagnosing and designing instruction for preschool children with disabilities, including implementation of the SDI Framework and DEC Recommended Practices in a classroom setting
Successful use of group facilitation and delivery of professional learning, including modeling and guided practice during training/professional learning experiences

Directions for Creating a Preschool SDI Year 1 and Year 2 Course for credit in your AEA

Green Hills AEA has a written course proposal for Preschool SDI Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 trainings that have been approved (Green Hills course #180415 for Year 1, Green Hills course #180671 for Year 2, Green Hills course #201263 for Year 3). All AEA’s must use the same proposal since the content, scope, and sequence are the same across the state.

Please follow these directions to use the proposal to create a course for your AEA:

Talk to your Director of PD at your AEA
The AEA PD Director needs to request permission to copy the course from GHAEA
The AEA PD Director will copy the course to the new AEA and add the PLL who will be presenting/responsible for the course
The PLL will be able to edit the course to match their delivery methods, dates, etc.
The PLL will add however many sections they need to deliver in their AEA
