Modules 15 and 17

Data collection is an important part of SDI and these resources support various ways that data can be collected for progress monitoring and informing instruction. We cover data collection in two different modules in order to have an opportunity to try new strategies, reflect, and continue to improve practices.

Module 15 Writing Meaningful IEP Goals-Data Collection:

Participants in Preschool SDI will be able to:

Define the various dimensions of behavior that can be used as criteria for IEP goals.
Discuss why they would choose certain dimensions of behavior for an IEP goal.
Use various data collection methods as matched to the goal and criteria.

Module 17 Going Deeper with Data Collection:

Participants in Preschool SDI will be able to:

Use an effective method for collecting data on child progress that informs instruction.
