Accommodations, Modifications and Assistive Technology

Module 11

The use of accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology help maximize engagement and ensure all children have access to preschool activities and routines. They are often helpful for all children and should be planned with intentional alignment to individual children's needs.

Participants in Preschool SDI will be able to:

Define accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology.
Identify a routine or activity and possible assistive technology supports that could be used.
Use a process to plan assistive technology supports for a specific child.
