Biomaterials

Biodegradable structural material produced by certain types of bacteria. That can be used for clothing fabrics, food additives, wound dressings in Space, etc.

Porcelain

I make realistic plant models in porcelain, or I paint directly on the porcelain using natural pigments.

Silver metal, Alloy & Welding

I'm just a beginner, but I fashioned my wedding ring in silver metal (925/1000) from an old ingot mold, then I shaped it by hand with old tools, or newer ones like the gas/oxygen cylinder.

Silica aerogel

Some test with a Silica Aerogel sample composed of over 95 % air! "Frozen smoke" was used by NASA to help insulate the electronics on the Mars Exploration Rovers.
