STEM Corner: If you have kids or teens, I recommend you this kit to study yeast. With "Doughlab" your kid can cake and learn about microbiology at the same time. You can see  the yeast's respiration with the gloves. Cherry on the Sunday: it's made in the USA and with sustainable packaging. Experimentation (scientific method, data, variables, etc.) is very complete and very well explained. And of course you can eat the bread ;-)

Did you know that the Egyptians passed their leaven from generation to generation? Yes yeast are alive, and you need to take care of it every day if you want to keep it as long as possible!

You can see the difference between yeast, added sugar and no yeast at all.

It is the breathing of the yeast that makes the glove swell!
