Biodegradable structural material

Creating matter from scratch is the future of materials in space but also a good material to use as an alternative to leather :-) A simple sample of 1 uL can create matter endlessly ...

I used bacterial cellulose as a biodegradable structural material. This matter is from bacteria such as Agrobacterium, Gluconacetobacter and Sarcina. Much like silkworms, these bacteria make microfibers when they eat sugar. This new material can then be used in the manufacture of paper, leather, clothing, wound dressings etc.
