Amazon Reviews

Amazon Review Takeaways:

With a variety of tablet cases on the market, people have several options to choose when it come to cases on Amazon. The user feedback explains some of the pros and cons that currently exist with various tablet cases. Consumers reviewed tablet cases after personal experience with the products and left feedback on Amazon.com. Amazon users feedback of existing tablet cases can be summed into five criteria:

  • Materials
  • Grips
  • Colors
  • Screen protection
  • Buttons/ Port accessibility

The best material seems to be polyurethane based on reviews because of the snug ergonomic forms and the soft squishy material offers the just right amount of drop impact protection on the corners. Popular grips are based on thick handles and enough room to fit any hand size. Handles must also be durable and tough. Colors will indicate the use and purpose of the case. Bright primary and secondary colors are attractive to kids, but darker neutral colors convey a more mature case design and purpose. Screen protection is the biggest cause of poor review on Amazon and is an essential part of the design. The case design must have either a screen protector, or enough overhang from the outer shell to protect the screen from scratches, cracks, and dings. Last but not least, the case design must consider accessibility to the ports and buttons on the device. Prototypes must explore of button accessibility and charging capabilities. The case design must not cover or interfere with interaction between the users and the button/ plugs on the device.
