Sec 2 Cadets Learning Site

This course is for cadets to be familiar with the dry practice for their .22 Shoot.

The Anti-Narcotics programme is conducted for Secondary Two cadets in collaboration with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association. This 3 hour programme is conducted at the area level within the school compound of a hosting school.

The programme aims to heighten awareness of the threats of drug abuse, encourage cadets to understand the importance of drug prevention and to prevent self and others against becoming victims to drug abuse.

Understand the basic law concepts

To help you prepare for the Adventure Training Camp (ATC) at Camp Resilience on Pulau Ubin , you would need to know how to:

  1. tie specific knots and lashings,

  2. pitch tents, gadgets and flagpoles.

The Community Safety & Security Programme for Sec 2 Cadets is to help cadets understand that to be socially conscious is to take ownership of educating the school community on safety and security as well as to assist in enforcing those values and beliefs through actions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Create awareness on the need to capture a crime scene & the importance of taking good & reliable photos of a crime scene

  • Create awareness on the importance of DNA found in a crime scene

  • Create awareness on the need to preserve blood stains in a crime scene

To learn discipline and resilience while preparing yourself for ceremonial parades such as the NPCC Annual Parade and National Day

The Leadership and Mentoring Course (LMSC) is conducted for Secondary Three cadet leaders and/or Secondary Two Cadets who are groomed as potential cadet leaders. This course aims to familiarise participants with the roles of being cadet leaders. LMSC is a compulsory component for the promotion of cadet leaders of the rank Sgt and above.

LMSC can be conducted within individual school units or as an area-Based LMSC.

The course objectives are as follows:

  • To acquaint cadets on the training programmes of Sec 1 to Sec 3 cadets.

  • To provide training on understanding the group processes and team-building.

  • To enhance effective communication skills of the cadets.

  • To provide training on supervisory skills

  • To acquaint new cadet leaders in the role as trainers.
