Police Procedures

Cadets are to view the slides and complete the Handout. Remember to submit a copy of completed handout to your officers.

Group Activity - Your officer will divide your squads into groups and use online meeting platforms to facilitate discussions as you do this role play activity.

Instructions for Activity (total 30 min)

1. Split your squad into two groups, each group will prepare a skit to present to the other group.

2. Students are to role-play a scenario (as given) where:

(a) A member of public calls the police to make a report

(b) The police responds to the report and commences an investigation

(c) A suspicious person is identified, checked and arrested

3. Give both groups a chance. Each group may take around 10 mins.

4. At the end of the skits, please debrief the students based on the learning points listed in this handout.

Note: This is the assessment component for the Police Procedures course, and the activity is designed to be a recap of some of the main concepts of the Police Procedures course. Please ensure that the cadets display a satisfactory understanding of the course. Thank you!
