Welcome to My ePortfolio

This ePortfolio is a showcase of my educational journey and professional growth as a dedicated Paraprofessional Librarian and aspiring teacher. Throughout my coursework in the Applied Digital Learning program at Lamar University, I have developed a deep appreciation for the integration of technology in educational settings. This journey has not only fueled my passion for technology but has also inspired me to incorporate digital tools into my current role in the library and my future classroom.

This ePortfolio is organized into many key sections, each highlighting different aspects of my learning and contributions in: 5302 and 5305

 3. Literature Review- The literature review titled "Tech Access for All" explores how technology integration in education can ensure equitable access and improve learning outcomes. It examines the importance of digital tools in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. The review covers scholarly articles and case studies on blended learning, digital literacy, and technology use in libraries and classrooms, highlighting how technology can bridge educational gaps and provide equal opportunities for students. The methodology outlines the selection and analysis of sources, while the findings discuss the positive impact of technology on student engagement and accessibility. The discussion interprets these findings within educational theory, addressing challenges and proposing solutions for implementing technology in diverse settings. The conclusion summarizes the main points and offers recommendations for promoting tech access for all students. The review includes 12 unique citations from reputable sources.

4. Growth Mindset Plan- My Growth Mindset Plan aims to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and resilience among students and colleagues. By emphasizing the value of effort and persistence, modeling a growth mindset, and creating a supportive environment, I intend to encourage risk-taking and view challenges as opportunities for growth. Through recognizing achievements, providing constructive feedback, and promoting lifelong learning, my goal is to foster an atmosphere where everyone is motivated to embrace learning and overcome obstacles with confidence.

5. Contribution to the Learning Community- Examples of my active participation in professional learning communities, including hosting literacy media nights and collaborating with teachers.

6. Annotated Bibliography - In my annotated bibliography, I have selected resources that are pivotal for understanding and applying blended learning and technology integration in library settings. These resources offer a mix of theoretical insights, practical strategies, and real-world applications that will guide my efforts to enhance student engagement and learning through technology. By reflecting on these materials and integrating their recommendations, I aim to implement effective digital tools and methodologies in the library, ultimately creating a more interactive and impactful learning environment. 7. Learning Manifesto- The learning manifesto assignment required me to articulate my core beliefs and values as an educator, focusing on how I aim to inspire and empower students. It involved reflecting on the transformative power of education and my commitment to continuous personal growth. The manifesto serves as a statement of my dedication to fostering an environment where every student feels valued and supported, highlighting my role as a role model and my belief in education as a lifelong journey of learning, empathy, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

8. Blogs- In my blog series, I have utilized discussion posts to explore and reflect on various aspects of my educational journey. These posts serve as a platform to share insights, analyze key concepts, and engage in thoughtful dialogue on relevant topics. Being in the library has led me to develop a love and admiration for technology, motivating me to pursue this degree. My ultimate goal is to integrate technology seamlessly into the library and my future classroom, enriching the learning experiences of students. In addition, the projects and assignments in my classes have given me a deeper appreciation for technology and how to utilize it more in my learning community.
