2 Corinthians 5:6-10
Walk by Faith and Not by Sight
6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Matthew 19:30
The Last Will be First
30 But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
Luke 9:48
The Least Will be the Greatest
48 For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.
Some things as we read them in the Bible, seem like a paradox...Like do you want to be first or do you want to be last?...Do you want to be least or do you want to be great?...
St. Paul tells us to walk by and live by faith and not by our sight...So let us walk by faith and live by faith...This is a hard thing to do...To walk and live by faith, we have to trust in the LORD...So instead of believing in those things we see and hear on earth, we are to trust more in the eternal, and the will of God, and live this way, a spiritual way -hand in hand with God...God's Plan transcends our thoughts and dreams, but it is a hard thing to accept as we see and believe and live with these things around us...When we walk and live by what we see and hear we are limited in what we can do...We see the first as first, but He sees the last as first...God sees the least ad the greatest...When we walk in the Light and live by faith, the possibilities are endless...They are infinite, because nothing is impossible for God...
Walking by faith means trusting in God's will and doing it, and less, much less in doing our own will...
