Matthew 18:10-14
The Parable of the Lost Sheep
10"See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
12"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.
Jesus teaches us about the parable of the lost sheep...The sheep that is described as the "one of them wanders away" is a man, who is a sinner...Sometimes temptation sets us away from our Father...In fact, some sheep that wanders may not no they have sinned or maybe they do know...So we wander away from God from time to time...
Some of the sinners who wander away do not even have the desire(s) or feeling(s) to come back to the flock...This world can give them pleasure and desires, and some just don't feel their faith...This can make it more difficult to find the Father, as you drift through life...They don't have a reason for coming back home to our Father, because humanity might compare this world's desires with faith...One might feel an earth's pleasures, but they can't "feel" their beliefs...Our connection with God becomes unconnected...
Mankind then can drift away from God and becomes absorbed in this world, or something else and we become apathetic toward finding this reconnection with God...
Regardless of the reason or reasons, Jesus tells us the Father will leave everything and search for us...If the Father can find us and we join Him, He is happier for this repentance than the other things that are going on...Our Father wants us to connect with Him, through the Spirit He gives us...
God loves us, but gives us our free will to wander and drift...But the Father is so happy to see us return to Him...He does not want any of us lost...
