Matthew 18:8-9
Our Nature is to Sin
8If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

The Sin Entanglements
1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Sin hinders and so easily entangles us...Because it is our nature to sin, we need to be aware we are prone to sin...But if we fix our eyes on our LORD Jesus Christ, He is a great help to our sinning ways...
The flesh is weak and quickly follows the pleasures and desires of this world...Temptations of the heart are very difficult to get rid of (them)...And there will those who tempt us, and we must be on guard and aware of this...There will be those of bad example, and we should not follow them...Christ wants us to understand what causes us to sin in our lives...And if we can get rid of those things in our lives that cause some of our sins, get rid of them...
