28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
4 “You know the way to the place where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
Jesus 14:9-14
Jesus is in His Father, and His Father is in Him
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Matthew 16:24-28
It is Tough Following the Way of the Cross
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.
28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
Mark 13:31
Jesus Words Will Never Pass Away
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Jesus made some utterly outstanding statements when He walked the earth...His words are a little bit different than what others had ever spoken...And no one has spoken like Him since them...The things said about Him were also different...Some of His words and teachings are hard to understand and interpret...But if God came a Man and came to earth, we would expect Him to speak in a way that would be different...He is from Heaven, which is Another World...God is Spirit, which is different than a having physical body...For instance, Jesus tells us no one knows Him except His Father, yet He grew up in the family of Mary and Joseph -and had other siblings...Shouldn't they know Him...We would expect people to talk about Him in a different way, and we should expect Him to be different and yet Great...After all He is our LORD and our GOD...For He is the One, and Only One, who can provide us with eternal life...
We are told that He is the Word of God, the Logos, and this Word has been around since the very beginning...And this Word somehow actually became flesh and a Man on the earth...Jesus did not say His words on His own...He came to earth to find and save sinners...His teachings were God sent...So God gave Him His authority and He spoke the word of God...If we are able to follow His teachings, we will learn the Truth and this Truth shall set us free...He came into our world is to testify to the truth...Everyone on the side of truth listens to Him...But like Pilate, we must believe and decide on who He is and what Truth is...It is our choice, just as Pilate and the others had a choice to believe in Him, or not believe in Him...
Jesus recruited Twelve Disciples and even they had a hard time understanding and following everything He said...He told them that it would be tough following Him...We must first deny ourselves before we can take up the cross...The is not much good in money and material things, if you pay for them with your soul...Jesus will reward each of us for what we have done...He taught them love, forgiveness, and all about God...The Twelve had been with Him for three years and the night before His arrest, trial, and crucifixion, He spoke calmly and was trying to comfort and prepare them, before His upcoming death...Thomas did not know what He was talking about when Jesus was talking to them about His Father's house in heaven...Jesus told him and the other disciples that He is the way to heaven and to His Father -the only way...Philip asked to see God His Father, in person...Jesus tells Philip that anyone who has seen Him has seen His Father...
Jesus is, of course, very close to God, and has a special relationship with Him...They are both are eternal...Jesus taught and teaches the eternities, the things that are eternal...He teaches us that He and His Father are One...This relationship is so unique that no one gets to His Father, except through the Truth of the Son...Their relationship is based on Pure LOVE...That is why one of His last commands and He says it is a new command that He gave His disciples was to love one another...By loving each other we show that we are His disciples...I expect that this is still true today...
These verses are still fresh and unique today, as when He first spoke them...Everything He said was sacred, because He is the Holy Son of God...Jesus' spoken Word was Divine when He spoke them and they are still sacred, holy, and divine today...His Words will never pass away...
