Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those with him
Umar ibn al khattab:
When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was on his death-bed and in the house there were some people among whom was Umar bin Al-Khattab, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Come, let me write for you a statement after which you will not go astray."Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) is seriously ill and you have the Qur'an; so the Book of Allah is enough for us." The people present in the house differed and quarrelled. Some said "Go near so that the Prophet (ﷺ) may write for you a statement after which you will not go astray," while the others said as `Umar said. When they caused a hue and cry before the Prophet, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Go away!"
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) set out for Tabuk. **appointing Ali as his deputy** (in Medina).Ali said, "Do you want to leave me with the children and women?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Will you not be pleased that you will be to me like Aaron to Moses? But there will be no prophet after me."
The Muslims (excepting the Prophet (ﷺ) and some of his companions) started fleeing and I too, fled with them. Suddenly I met `Umar bin Al-Khattab amongst the people and I asked him, "What is wrong with the people?" He said, "It is the order of Allah"
Ali chanted in reply: I am the one whose mother named him Haidar, (And am) like a lion of the forest with a terror-striking countenance. I give my opponents the measure of sandara in exchange for sa' (i. e. return thir attack with one that is much more fierce). The narrator said: 'Ali struck at the head of Mirhab and killed him, so the victory (capture of Khaibar) was due to him.
When the pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr after the Messenger of God was given to Ali and Al-Zubayr, they entered upon Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of God, and consulted her and referred back in their matter. When this reached Umar ibn al-Khattab, he went out until he entered on Fatima and said, O daughter of the Messenger of God, by God, there is no one more beloved to us than your father, and there is no one more beloved to us after your father than you. And I swear to God, that would not prevent me if the meeting of these people with you; if I ordered to burn the house on them
I heard Al-Hassan bin Ali (AS) standing up and addressing the people, and he said: O people, a man has left you yesterday who was not preceded by the first and not noticed by the last, The Messenger of God SAWA used to send him the envoy and give him the flag, so he did not return until God gave him victory. Gabriel on his right and Michael on his left He did not leave white or yellow, except for seven hundred dirhams, from which he had given you. He wanted to buy a servant with it
You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking Allah’s bounty and pleasure. The sign on their faces from the trace of prostrating. This is their description in the Torah.
Umar is not in the Torah, imam Ali AS is:
Numbers 21:17 (Hebrew) az yashir yisra-el eth hash-shira hazzoth ‘Ali ve-er ‘enu lah.
Then Israel sang this song, Ali is a well; sing to him.
And their parable in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters—
Umar is not in the gospel, imam Ali AS is:
John 1:21 - And they asked him again, What then? art thou Elia? And he said, I am not. Art thou the Prophet? And he said, No.
Matthew 17:10 - And the disciples asked and said to him, Why therefore say the scribes that Elia must come first?
Matthew 17:11 - Jeshu (Jesus) answered and said to them, Elia cometh first that he may fulfil every thing;
in this way Allah makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers.
Imam Ali (AS):
Ali (AS) observed: By Him Who split up the seed and created something living, the Apostle (may peace and blessings be upon him) gave me a promise that no one but a believer would love me, and none but a hypocrite would nurse grudge against me.
So both of you (imam Ali AS & al Abbas) thought him to be a liar, sinful, treacherous and dishonest. And Allah knows that he was true, virtuous, well-guided and a follower of truth. When Abu Bakr passed away and (I have become) the successor of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him), you thought me to be a liar, sinful, treacherous and dishonest.
To those of them who believe and do good, Allah has promised forgiveness and a great reward.
Umar ibn al khattab:
Surely those who offend Allah and His Messenger are condemned by Allah in this world and the Hereafter. And He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment.(33:57)
Umar was one of the people:
The people (present there) differed in this matter, and it was not right to differ before a prophet. Some said, "What is wrong with him ? (Do you think ) he is delirious
It was narrated from Ali bin Abi Talib (AS) (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: “OAli, you have a treasure in Paradise and you are with two harns of this ummah.
