The Lord said to my Lord (master), “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il ibn Bazi‘a from his uncle Hamza ibn Bazi‘a from Ali ibn Suwayd from abu al-Hassan Musa ibn Ja‘far (a.s) who has said the following.
About the words of Allah “Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties from the side of God. .” (39:56). The Imam (a.s) said that the side of Allah is Amirul Mu’minin (a.s) and so are the successors of the high position until the matters will reach to the last one among them.”
2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
The rod is a reference to imam Mahdi AJ
3 Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
18 - Narrated to us Ja’far bin Muhammad bin Masroor (r.a.): Narrated to us Husain bin Muhammad bin Aamir from his uncle Abdullah bin Aamir from Muhammad bin Abi Umair from Ibne Abi Hamza from Abi Baseer that he said: Abi Abdullah (a.s.) said:
“When Prophet Lut (a.s.) told his people: (“He said: Ah! that I had power to suppress you, rather I shall have recourse to a strong support.”) He did not mean to say anything except that he was wishing for the power of Qaim (a.s.) and ‘a strong support’ are his companions, each of whom would have the strength of forty men and their hearts would be more solid than a mountain of iron, such that if they wanted they could move a mountain of iron from its place. And they shall not lay down arms till Allah, the Mighty and Sublime is satisfied.”
You have the dew of Your youth.
12 - Narrated to us Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Ishaq Taliqani (r.a.): Narrated to us Ahmad bin Ali Ansari from Abi Salt Harawi that he said: I asked ar-Reza (a.s.):
“What would be the sign of your Qaim when he reappears?” He replied: “He will be advanced in age but he will seem like a young man. Whoever sees him will say that he is forty or less. The rotation of days and nights does not affect him till his last.”
4 The Lord has sworn And will not relent,“You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”
people have differed on who “Melchizedek” is. Some Ismaelis have said it’s al Khidhr AS. However their claims are not proof on us. Regardless, it means imam Mahdi AJ will rule through the unseen:
Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Hisahm ibn Salim from ‘Ammar al-Sabati who has said the following. “Once I asked abu ‘Abdallah AS,
“By what means do you judge when you would judge?” He said, “We judge by the laws of Allah and in the manner of David. If an issue would come before us for which there is nothing with us the Holy Spirit provides us inspiration.”
5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. 6 He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.
from Muhammad bin Muslim that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir AS had said:
“If people know what al-Qa’im AJ will do when he appears, most of them will wish he would not appear. He kills great numbers of people. He begins with the people of Quraysh. He kills much many of them until many people say: He is not from Muhammad’s progeny. If he is from Muhammad’s progeny, he will be merciful!”
7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He shall lift up the head.
(67) Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Sa’eed narrated from(…)Muhammad bin Ya’qoob al-Kulayni narrated from Ali bin Ibraheem bin Hashim from his father(…)from al-Hasan bin Mahboob from Amr bin Abul Miqdam from Jabir bin Yazeed al-Ju’fi that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir AS had said:
…On that day al-Qa’im AJ will be in Mecca leaning his back against the Kaaba. He will announce: “O people, we resort to Allah to make us succeed. Whoever of you wants to support us, let him join us. We are the progeny of your Prophet Muhammad SAWA. We are worthier of Allah and Muhammad than other people. Whoever argues with me about Adam, I am the worthiest of Adam. Whoever argues with me about Noah, I am the worthiest of Noah. Whoever argues with me about Abraham, I am the worthiest of Abraham. Whoever argues with me about Muhammad SAWA I am the worthiest of Muhammad SAWA Whoever argues with me about the prophets, I am the worthiest of the prophets. Has Allah not said in his Book, ‘Surely Allah chose Adam and Noah and the descendants of Abraham and the descendants of Imran above the nations; offspring one of the other; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing?’ I am a remainder of Adam, a relic of Noah, elite of Abraham and a choice of Muhammad, peace be upon them all. Whoever argues with me about the Book of Allah, I am the worthiest of the book of Allah. Whoever argues with me about the Sunna of the messenger of Allah, I am the worthiest of the Sunna of the messenger of Allah. I adjure everyone, who hears my speech today, to inform the absent of it. I ask you with the right of Allah, the right of His messenger and with my right, for I have a right of kinship to the messenger of Allah, to support us and to protect us from those, who have wronged us. We have been wronged, offended, expelled from our homes, separated from our families, deprived of our rights and our honor and virtues have been distorted by the evil people. For the sake of Allah, do not fail us. Support us that may Allah supports you!”
1 May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine on us
from imam Ali AS in a long Hadith:
The questioner asked, “Who are these proofs (hujaj)?” He (peace be upon him) replied, "They are the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad), and those who succeeded him, chosen by Allah Himself and His Messenger. They have been obligated the same obedience from people as the obedience that Allah and His Messenger have been obligated. They are the authorities (wulat al-amr) mentioned by Allah: ‘Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.’ And He said about them: ‘If they had referred it to the Messenger or to those of authority among them, those who [can] draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it.’ (Quran, Surah An-Nisa, 59&83) The questioner asked, “What is that matter?” Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said, "It is the matter through which the angels descend during the night in which every wise matter is decreed, such as the creation, sustenance, appointed time, deeds, age, life, death, knowledge of the unseen in the heavens and the earth, and the miracles that are only for Allah and His chosen ones. They are the intermediaries between Him and His creation. They are the Face of Allah, as Allah said, ‘So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah.’ (Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah, 115) They are the remainder of Allah, meaning al-Mahdi (the guided one), who will come when this aspect (of guidance) reaches its culmination. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness, just as it was filled with oppression and injustice."
2 so that your ways may be known on earth,
your salvation among all nations.
Ibn Bukayr said, "I asked Abu al-Hasan (Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kadhim AS) about the verse: ‘And to Him submit whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly.’ He replied,
’This verse was revealed regarding Imam al-Qa’im (the awaited Imam from the progeny of the Prophet), when he rises against the Jews, Christians, Sabians, heretics, apostates, and disbelievers in the east and west of the earth. Islam will be presented to them, and whoever embraces it willingly will be commanded to perform prayers and give alms (zakat) – the obligations that Muslims must fulfill for Allah. But whoever does not accept Islam, his life will be taken, and thus there will be no one left in the east or west except those who worship Allah alone.’
4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth.
212 - With his (al Fadhl ibn Shadthan’s RA) chain of transmission, traced back to Jabir from Abu Ja’far (Imam Muhammad al-Baqir), peace be upon him, saying:
“The first thing that al-Qa’im (the awaited Imam) will do is to emerge in Antioch (Antakya), from which he will extract the Torah from a cave where the staff of Moses and the ring of Solomon are preserved. He will bring it out as a sign, and the people of Kufa will be the happiest because of it. He will be called al-Mahdi (the Guided One) because he guides people to hidden matters, so much so that he will send a man whom people do not know to for him a sin, and he will be killed. Such will be the level of fear that a person may speak in the privacy of his home, afraid that the walls might bear witness against him.”
the highlighted part is also corroborated in kitab al Ghaybah al Nu’mani
6 The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us.
Imam Ali AS describing imam Mahdi AJ:
The Man in power, not from this crowd, will take to task all those were formerly appointed for their ill deeds and the earth will pour forth its iternal treasures and fling before him easily her keys. He will show you the just way of behavior and revive the Qur’ān and sunnah which have become lifeless (among people).
7 May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
al Fadhl ibn Shadthan RA in his book:
685- And he said: Safwan bin Yahya told us on the authority of Muhammad bin Hamran on the authority of Al-Sadiq that he said: The Qaim from us will be supported with terror and supported by victory, the earth will be rolled up for him and all treasures will be revealed to him, and through him God will make his religion prevail over all religion even if the polytheists hate it
