Abul Hassan, Thi Saffanati al Imam Ali ibn al Husayn AS al Sajjad, Zayn al Abideen AS
1 We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds.
from Al-Sadiq Ja’far b. Muhammad from his father from his grandfather from his father (a.s). He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: On the Day of Resurrection, a caller will call: “Where is Zayn al-Abidin (the Ornament of Worshipers; the fourth Imam)?” It is as though I am looking at my descendant Ali b. al-Husayn b. Ali b. Abi Talib swaying between the rows.
This narration is attributed to Wahb ibn Jumayy, a servant of Ishaq ibn 'Ammar, who said: "I asked Abu Abdullah (Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq) about the statement of Iblis (Satan) in the Quran: ‘My Lord, then respite me until the Day they are resurrected.’ (Quran, Surah Saad, 79) He (Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq) said to me, 'Indeed, you will be among those who are granted respite until the appointed time.’" Then Wahb asked, “May I be your ransom, which day is it?” Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq replied, "O Wahb, do you think that it is the day when Allah will resurrect the people? No, Allah has granted him respite until the day when our Qa’im (the Awaited Imam) is raised. When Allah raises our Qa’im, he will be in the mosque of Kufa, and Iblis will come, kneeling in front of him on his knees, and he will say, ‘Woe to me from this day!’ Then our Qa’im will take him by the forelock and strike his neck, and that day is the appointed time."
It was said to Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws, ‘What is the meaning of ‘The Angels of Proximity of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic are competing that there should happen to be a pair for them?’ He-asws said: ‘But, have you not heard the Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: Allah Testifies that there is no god except Him, and the Angels and the ones with the knowledge, maintaining His creation with justice; there is no god except Him, the Mighty, the Wise [3:18]? So He-azwj Began with Himself-azwj, and secondly with His-azwj Angels, and thirdly with the ones with knowledge, those who are pairs of His-azwj Angels, and their Chief is Muhammad-saww, and their second is Ali-asws, and their third is his-asws family, and they are more rightful of the rank after him-asws’. Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws said: ‘Then you, O group of Shias, the learned ones with our-asws knowledge, firstly being paired with us-asws and with the Angels of Proximity of the Lord-azwj, testifiers to Allah-azwj with His-azwj Tawheed (Oneness), and His-azwj Justice, and His-azwj Benevolence, and His-azwj Generosity, cutting off the excuses of the supporters, from His-azwj maids and His-azwj servants.
When the earth is shaken with its earthquake (al Zalzalah:1)
it is I who hold its pillars firm.
I was told by Thabit (Abi Hamza) al-Thumali, from the Master of Worshippers, Ali bin Hussain, peace be upon them both, that he said: There is not, between Allah and His Proof, a veil, and so, there is not for Allah any cover before His Proof. We are the Gates of Allah, and we are the Straight Path, and we are Bag of His Knowledge, and we are the Interpreters of His Revelation, and we are the Pillars of His Oneness, and we are the Place of His Secret.
4 To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns. 5 Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak so defiantly.’” 6 No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. 7 It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another. 8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.
Imam Ali bin Husayn (a.s.) called out to him, saying, “O you who preach! Woe be to you! You have bought the wrath of the Creator in lieu of the pleasure of the creatures, while your place is the hell”. Then he turned towards Yazid and said, “Do you permit me to speak that which would be agreeable to Allah and **would be a means of reward for those present?”** Yazid refused to do so, while the people said, “Permit him to ascend the pulpit, perhaps we may hear something (worthwhile) from him”. Yazid replied, “If I permit him to mount the pulpit, he shall not descend it until he humiliates me and the progeny of Abu Sufyan”. They said, “How could this ailing youth do so?” Yazid replied, “He comes from a family that has consumed wisdom along with the milk from their infancy”. They compelled until he relented, and Imam (a.s.) ascended the pulpit. He praised and eulogized Allah and delivered a sermon that made the eyes weep and hearts shiver. Then he said, (The Sermon)
9 As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob, 10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”
1- Praise belongs to God, the First, without a first before Him, the Last, without a last behind Him. 2- Beholders’ eyes fall short of seeing Him, describers’ imaginations are not able to depict Him. 3- He originated the creatures through His power with an origination, He devised them in accordance with His will with a devising. (the supplication)
