Overview
This course provides the Demineralization Plant Operators with sound knowledge in the theory and practice of the water purification systems in power generating plants. It covers conventional ion exchange plants to the newer E-cell technology, water chemistry, chemical handling and storage, and water pumping and storage operations. The course also covers such areas as plant safety procedures, communications protocols, plant start up, operation and shut down, plant monitoring and data logging, emergency response procedures, and plant troubleshooting procedures.
