Overview

Computerized Monitoring and Control Systems provide users with the most current information and ability to effectively, efficiently, and reliably operate, control and manage systems for which they are responsible. Additionally, these systems provide critical information management functions.

This course provides knowledge of the design and functioning of such systems in the power plants. It covers systems architecture and topology, control room and plant setups, control systems throughout the plant, and acquisition, processing and storage of data and information.
