Vibration analysis is that activity whereby the equipment vibration levels are periodically analyzed to establish proper levels after installation or maintenance and to detect gradual or sudden changes in the established levels during normal operation.
This course provides comprehensive knowledge in the theory and practice of vibration analysis and their applications in power generating plants. It covers the equipment in the plants that are analyzed, safety procedures, vibration equipment and setups, data gathering in the field and remotely, data analysis methods, and the economic implications of the vibration analysis program.
