Plant performance is that branch of plant operation whereby the operational processes and outputs of the plant are observed, the performance indicators are measured and analyzed continuously, the results are compared to design expectations and, solutions are formulated to reduce or eliminate deviations.
This course provides comprehensive knowledge in the theory and practice of the performance management of generating units and their components and the generating plants. It covers performance indicators, measurement and evaluation of performance, and the economic implications of performance deviations.
