Overview
Ultrasound Inspection is used in the reliability management of mechanical and electrical equipment. The ultrasounds they generate or respond to are periodically or responsively analyzed to detect changes and their causes in equipment health during normal or abnormal operation.
This course provides comprehensive knowledge in the theory and practice of ultrasound testing and analysis and their applications in power generating plants. It covers the equipment in the plants that are analyzed, safety procedures, ultrasound equipment and setups, data gathering and analysis methods, and the economic implications of the ultrasound analysis program.
