Kaye Tomlinson (who, unsurprisingly liked to be known as Jeff) had his best season in 1884.
That year he won the City & Suburban on Quicklime and the Great Metropolitan on Zadig.
His last two winners were in 1891, both on Commissary on 8th & 9th May at Thirsk.
Kaye died in Richmond, Yorkshire, on May 4, 1903, aged 54. He was buried in Richmond cemetery and left £2,761.
