Annual AIDS Walk

May 19th marks the National Asian Pacific Islander's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. As part of the tradition, ISY participants partake in the annual AIDs Walk at Central Park; to end stigma in the API community surrounding HIV/AIDS. Individuals with HIV may live a healthy life despite having the virus. Although, Currently, although there is still no cure for HIV treatments are available to detain the viral load and prevent it to reach its final stage; AIDS.





Before the walk, participants attended a T-shirt design workshop, where they use their creative and artistic skills to design the T-shirt they will be wearing on the day of the walk

Overall, participants enjoyed the scenery, snacks, drinks, and entertainments provided by various sponsors before and after the walk.
