With beautiful weather comes beautiful BBQ. Just within minutes of settling, many ISY participants, filled with excitements, disperse to the many different locations around Pier 5 to enjoy various sports like beach volleyball, soccer, basketball, handball, frisbee, and football. However, a good few, stood around the grills and prepared the food. Cutting fruits, grilling the different meats and vegetables, and setting up the table was all of their doing. Staff reminded us to apply or reapply sun screen to protect us from the harmful sun rays. Staff even joined some of the participants in sitting on the grass and enjoying the beautiful view from Pier 5. It was tremendous day with many surprises: a water fight, where Shuk got terribly wet, visits from many ISY Alumnis and staffs at CPC , and my personal favorite, a long hug after the water fight to provide comfort to those who might have it rough at the very moment. To end the day, many of us gather around the table enjoying conversations with each other and watching the beautiful sun set.

This whole year could not have been done without the effort of all our staffs. They were there in our troubles and cared for us without being told to. Their generosity and kindness is a great example for all of us, and it reminds us to be the kindest person we can be.
