God Seems to Hide

God Created All Things -Visible Things and Invisible Things
16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
Physicist Peter Higgs wrote a paper in 1964 explaining something that he believed in...Higgs thought that there might be a small particle that would give mass to matter...But in 1964 this would be very, very hard to prove...And if this small particle was ever found, it meant that it has always existed...His thinking was deep and and fundamental in nature, as scientists look back on his theory...The particle was elusive and seemed to hide...For years scientists and physicists could not find it...It was named the God Particle, because it seemed to hide and scientists could not find it...And for many years other scientists in the community thought Higgs was right and that there was this small subatomic particle out there, regardless of whether it could be seen or not...There were followers who believed in this thing that they could not see, but somehow it made sense in science that it might, in fact, exist...In the years 2012 to 2013, the particle was detected and found by a very elaborate laboratory using a large Hadron Collider...Peter Higgs after all those years had been proven right...There was this small subatomic particle that had remained hidden for years...The finding of the God Particle, or the Higgs Boson tells us something about nature...It also tells us something about how we think and our own personal belief systems...
Now Peter Higgs is a great physicist...He somehow seemed to know that there was something out there that could not be seen and yet had remained hidden for years and years and years...The particle had always existed...And he never gave up on what he believed in...Many scientists believed in his way of thinking, even though his idea was very difficult to prove...Now to me this is quite interesting...Theologians for years have been saying that God exists...The thought is a deep one, yet fundamental in nature...How did nature get here?...
What I have learned from the God Particle is that things can remain hidden for many years and still exist...Scientists and groups of people can believe in things that they cannot see and have other followers believe in them even though the proof maybe years and years in the future -or maybe what they believe can never be scientifically proven...Scientists and others can think of a belief in their reality and their way of thinking and it is viewed one way, while a person that believes in God is given a different standard on his beliefs...
