Isaiah 43:5-7
God Created Us for His Glory
5 Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
and gather you from the west.
6 I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
7 everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.”
God is LOVE...Love leads us to God's glory, which leads to Everlasting Life...Eternal Life is knowing the One True God and the One that He sent who is His Son...So all those who believe in God are called to Him by His Name...God not only created us in His Image, but created us for His Glory...God is glorified in us, when are loving Him and satisfied in Him...As Jesus prayed in His High Priestly Prayer we better see God's Glory as recognized by His Son...We understand better the Glory of both the Father and Son...Jesus said, Father, the hour has come...Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you...For You granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those you have given Him...Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent...I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work You gave Me to do...And now, Father, glorify Me in your presence with the Glory I had with you before the world began...God created us for love and His Glory...And we understand this better when we see the LOVE of God for us, our purpose in life, our worth in life, the beauty of life, and the importance and essence of our Creator in giving us those virtues...
American Theologian and Pastor John Piper is quoted as saying this about God's LOVE for us and our understanding His Glory: “Therefore, the reason God seeks our praise is not because He won’t be complete until He gets it...He is seeking our praise because we won’t be complete until we give it...This is not arrogance...It is LOVE.”...“God communicates Himself to the understanding of the creature, in giving him the knowledge of His glory; and to the will of the creature, in giving him holiness, consisting primarily in the LOVE of God: and in giving the creature happiness, chiefly consisting in joy in God...These are the sum of that emanation of divine fullness called in Scripture, the glory of God...The first part of this glory is called truth, the latter, grace,”...“the communication of God's joy and happiness, consists chiefly in communicating to the creature that happiness and joy which consists in rejoicing in God, and in His glorious excellency; for in such joy God's own happiness does principally consist...And in these things, knowing God's excellency, LOVING God for it, and rejoicing in it, and in the exercise and expression of these, consists God's honor and praise; so that these are clearly implied in that glory of God, which consists in the emanation of His internal glory.”...“Grace is the pleasure of God to magnify the worth of God by giving sinners the right and power to delight in God without obscuring the glory of God.”...“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.”...
