De Online Trust Coalitie lanceert overzicht van 19 Europese wetten in het digitale domein
Om de cyberweerbaarheid te waarborgen is een alerte en adequate aanpak nodig van zowel de Nederlandse overheid als de Europese Unie. De aanpak krijgt onder meer vorm door een ambitieus pakket aan EU-wetgeving, waaronder
NIS2,
DORA,
de Cyberresillience Act en
de AI Act.
De Online Trust Coalitie (OTC) werkte met ICTRecht aan een overzicht van 19 belangrijke Europese wetten voor het digitale domein. Op donderdag 30 mei 2024 lanceerde de OTC het wetgevingsoverzicht tijdens de ECP Deelnemersspecial 'Cyberweerbaarheid; wat je moet weten, wat je moet doen'. Tom Vreeburg, kernteamlid van de OTC, overhandigde het wetgevingsoverzicht aan Roman Volf, die vanuit het ministerie van EZK mede aan de wieg heeft gestaan van de OTC. Roman benadrukte hoe welkom zo'n overzicht is, voor het ministerie en voor alle partijen die zich voor willen bereiden op de komst van de wetten of anderen daarbij adviseren.
