Hooty's Mini Market Day!

The beaches of Octillery Trail over on Clamperl Cove seem to be full of life; a “Mini Market Day” is being hosted by the various Business Owners of Raccolto. For one day there will be special sales, with the various business owners putting out their best wares, while the shoppers can find some fabulous deals to splurge on! However, both parties are hoping for the same thing in the end: to win the best prizes during the end of day raffle! 

Anyone who has officially set up a stall to sell things, or people who have purchased anything, will be entered into a series of raffles for some fabulous prizes! For the business owners, the chance of their very own Billboard is too good to pass up; and for the shoppers? Well who can say no to the chance of some Shiny Pokemon Eggs?

As the residents of Raccolto wake on the first morning of April, things seem a bit… strange. Going about their days, the island’s inhabitants discover that their pokemon—and all other pokemon across Raccolto—have magically gained the ability to better communicate with people! The Harvest Sprites are giggling mischievously as they run about, almost as though they know something everyone else doesn’t. 

For the entire month of April, pokemon across Raccolto can speak! Some of them may be able to write or more effectively telepathically communicate, as well. The mines and hiking trails are all abuzz with conversation, ranches and farms have become primary hubs for gossip, and going into town to visit the businesses there is a new sort of socialization! They’re expressing how much they care, what foods they like, and some of the pokemon may even have quite strong opinions about their homes. 

How will residents handle this strange event? 

Art requirements:

- Flat colors, no background requirement for visual work

- 500 words for written work

The rewards for this one are just the additional event PD this time around. Just a fun, low-stress event for the month!
