Earning In-Group Currency
There are plenty of things you can buy for your resident, and you can earn the pokedollars (abbreviated as PD) to buy those things by submitting art pieces to the group, or by earning produce from work submissions and selling them! Below is how the pay system works.
Every submission to the group earns PD. Below are the rates for the most common submission types.
*Payment is not cumulative but based on final result.
EX: Flat colored characters earn 200 PD and do not get additional PD for line art and sketching!

You are absolutely allowed to submit photography, sculptures (3D or real life). Collages. Zines And so on.
In addition, you are allowed to create an art piece using a game. Say, you make Pixel Art using Minecraft.
Transparent backgrounds, or backgrounds that are a single color or gradient do not count for PD.
Non Scene Backgrounds: Pattern or Shapes that do not resemble a scene as described below. Will earn 100 PD.
Simple Scene: No distinction of foreground, midground or background, the scene is all on one plane. There are few environment elements (clouds, trees, chairs, cameos, Pokémon, etc.).
Semi-Detailed Scene: Has the distinction of at least two planes. At least 4+ environment elements (clouds, trees, chairs, cameos, Pokémon, etc.).
All art and writing, to count towards growth of plants, evolution of animals or earning of coin rolls/registers, must appear as if effort was put into them. They must have:
At least flat colors and a background for visual pieces or minimum 500 words for a written piece
The resident be included.
No copy and paste elements are allowed. (Ex- if growing mushrooms, each mushroom must be drawn uniquely.)
RPs can count toward work pieces, but only the member who is involved with the job can submit and earn produce for the work piece. Both members will still earn PD for the roleplay.
One benefit of marriage is the allowance of collaboration on work-related pieces. However, only one member of the couple will get the work produce. (ex. Spouse A owns a farm, Spouse B owns a ranch. Spouse A makes a sketch of their strawberries, Spouse B colors the sketch. Spouse A would submit the piece because they own the farm, and Spouse A would get the strawberries.)
Work produce and items found around the islands can be sold for PD.
To sell items, send a note to the group stating what you'd like to ship. Put in the subject the following information:
The first 5 characters of your deviantart username
"I'd like to sell..."
Example: LUNAT I'd like to sell...
