Big thanks to the 10 members who braved the elements today, it was a big challenge against an awkward wind.

Only one casualty, M Main who managed to hook himself in the neck, Michael is hardy, a good pull and out came the hook.

It was a real test of skills today, the morning fishing was very dour for everybody except Dave Batty, heard he was using a secret weapon. The wind dropped very slightly in the afternoon and we started to catch a few fish. A total of 27 fish were landed by the 10 members

One of our junior members Andrew Wallace landed a nice 2lb 12oz fish, second heaviest fish of the day.

1st Place Dave Batty 14 lbs

2nd Place Sandy Reid 8 lbs 10oz

3rd Place Mike Stewart 8 lbs 8oz
