Effect: Choose a hostile character as the target for this spell. For the duration of the spell, they must target you with all their Retaliations. Their focus on you is so intense and furious that their attacks against you have the Heavy tag. All attacks you make against them while this spell is in effect have Advantage.

Effect: Cast this spell on a melee weapon you are carrying. Whenever you make an attack with that weapon you can choose to deal damage using your Arcane damage rather than your Martial damage. This spell lasts until the end of the end of the scene, or until you drop, stow or otherwise let go of your weapon (but does not need to be Maintained).
If the roll is Critically Successful, then your attacks using this spell deal an additional 1 damage (casting this spell multiple times on the same weapon does not cause this damage to stack).
Roll: Forceful+Defiant (18)

Effect: You call upon the memory of the Avus Brothers and summon a fraction of the war gods’ power. When you cast this spell, choose one of the two brothers to aid you.
An aspect of the chosen brother appears anywhere you choose within range. This is a construct made from pure, brilliant plasma, crackling with potency. Whenever you or a friendly character deals damage to an enemy in this zone, the guardian strikes them as well, dealing d4 damage with the Energy tag, along with the additional effect of the chosen brother.
Avus-01: Avus-01 carries a spear of plasma and a shield. All friendly characters within range of the guardian get 1 additional armour.
Avus-02: Avus-02 carries a shining greatsword. Its attacks have the Heavy tag in addition to the Energy tag. Whenever it strikes a target, you can choose for it to shove them to any point within range 1 after it has damaged them. The target retaliates after it has been shoved by the guardian.
Roll: Forceful+Precise (Melee)

Effect: You summon a weapon of burning energy to your hands for a brief instant, a divine manifestation of your god’s weapons. Such terrible power cannot linger beyond the circuit long, but its power is devastating.
When you attack with this spell, you do so by calling forth a spear or greatsword to your hands and striking your foe. This attack deals damage using your Martial Mastery, ignores all armour and other protection your target may have, and has the Energy tag. In addition, if you called for the Spear it also gains the Reach and Piercing tags. If you summon the greatsword, it also gains the Heavy tag instead.
Roll: Forceful+Astute (15)

Effect: You briefly commune with the divine strategic minds of the long-dead Avus brothers, granting you an overview of the battlefield and a pugnacious premonition, letting you anticipate the actions of your enemies. Until the end of your next turn, whenever you make an attack action against an enemy, your threshold for the roll being Critically Successful is 5 plus their Threat instead of the usual 10 plus their Threat.
Roll: Forceful+Ruthless (Threat [ranged] of target)

Effect: You call upon the memories of the charnel age of the Unmaking, and of the terrible memories of its weapons of mass destruction.
This is a ranged attack targeting a hostile character in range. If it hits, deal damage using your Arcane Mastery. If the target of this spell dies, the spell also deals that much damage to all other characters within Close range of them.
When you cast this spell, test your Arcane Mastery.
