The Glowlands are a hell of ice and steel. To face them is to stand against the iron-hard resolve of the machines. Breakers do more than stand; they shatter them upon their shields and their blades.
Breakers are consummate warriors, those who wear the heaviest armour and wield the biggest weapons in combat. They train their bodies to withstand extreme punishment and to hit back with maximum impact. A breaker is not subtle, but they do not need to be; a breaker’s enemy knows where they are, and they know the end comes soon.
Class Goal - Challenge: To be a Breaker is to push harder, go further and overcome the most fearsome of odds. When you create a character, choose a challenge. This is something you push to overcome and succeed on, and can be a specific goal to work towards (such as destroying a specific machine) or can be something you push towards constantly (defeat more foes than anyone else). Whenever you push towards this challenge in a scene, tick off a class goal box.
Starting gear: You start the game with the following:
A Great Weapon or a Mace and a shield
A suit of medium armour
Starting Mastery: You start the game with Rank 2 Martial Mastery
Starting Proficiencies: You start the game proficient in all weapons and all armours.
Class Ability - Roar of Challenge: You let out a bellow that draws the attention of everyone nearby. Use this ability as a standard action. When you use this ability, it affects all enemies within Range 1. Whenever an affected enemy retaliates, it must use its next retaliation against you, regardless of who triggered it. When you use this ability, test your Martial Mastery once.
