Having issues importing data?
Data not there or rejected?
Formats occasionally change but most of the time the issue can be resolved by following these steps:
Are you on the current version of GMPro?
If not, please upgrade and try again.
See the website or the Announcements section of the Facebook group for the latest version.
Are you using the Google Chrome browser for any copy/paste related imports?
If not, please try again using that browser.
Have you read the user guide and used the search ability to find your keywords and answer?
If not, try that - remember there are four sections to the guide.
Did you backup your database (File -> Backup) before importing?
If not, and your issue is not easily fixed, you may have to start from scratch. It is almost impossible to fix bad data.
Backups at the start and end of every session as a minimum are recommended, along with just before a big file import.
Verify that the keys (name, kit, etc.) in the Profile record are entered correctly.
If they are not correct, you will need to revert to backup and re-import.
Verify that the correct import option was selected.
There are many different import sources and sometimes multiple providers of the same data.
Ensure the import option reflects both the correct source and provider.
Also ensure that you used the correct tool for the import option being used.
Verify that the data in question is contained in the import file or pasted data
Review the error generated in the log file. Part 4 of the User Guide contains a list of error messages and possible resolutions.
No log file? Verify that the log file is not open in another program such as Excel.
Verify that the settings are correct in Options -> App Settings and not preventing an expected import.
When the steps above have been verified and the issue is still not resolved then post the following screenshots on Facebook.

Snip of the profile page in question
Snip of the error in the log file
If we cannot identify the issue from the screen shots, you may be asked for more screenshots, or to email or message one of the Admins of the Facebook group for further one on one assistance.
