Hand Tool Safety

Never leave tools out after use, always return them to the proper location

Do not use broken tools, report them to a teacher or mentor so they can be repaired or replaced

For corded tools, wrap up the cord without any kinks before placing them back in the proper location

Never carry tools in your pockets, of any kind

Do not damage any stools or tables in the shop

If you don't know how to use a tool, ask for help

Never distract someone who's using a tool
