Mechanical

The mechanical team fabricates the moving parts of the robot: its frame, drivetrain, manipulators, shooters, etc. Students on the mechanical team learn to work with hand tools, power tools, computer aided design and manufacture, 3D printing, and a wide variety of materials and fasteners.
