Italian Day

The students who participate in this project are students in the eight grade, both from English Speaking classes and regular Swedish classes. The students who participated during the LTT in Matera had a presentation about the meeting. Then the rest of the class and the English speaking class prepared presentations and posters for the Italian Day. After the Easter break did the students present their work and had a traditional Swedish "Fika" instead of Italian cookies, due to many students that are allergic to almonds and nuts ( many Italian cookies contain almonds).

The students did research about:

1. Important people of Italy (politicians, athletes, artists, scientists).

2. The biggest Italian cities and their landmarks.

3. Traditional Italian meals.

4. Favourite Italian sports.
